Champions Crowned and Memories Made at the 2025 TGR JR Invitational
From the first tee shot at The Hay to the final putt at Spanish Bay, the 2025 TGR JR Invitational presented by TaylorMade delivered two days of unforgettable competition at Pebble Beach Resorts. Sixty junior golfers from across the country came together to showcase their skills and sportsmanship while creating memories of a lifetime.
Festivities officially began on Saturday, October 11, with a welcome reception at The Hay. Junior golfers were greeted with swag bags that included custom tournament gear. Out on the course, participants and families enjoyed a variety of interactive stations that added to the opening-day excitement. Starting on the first hole, Coca-Cola hosted the Epic Putt contest, challenging players to sink a hole-in-one from the tee for early celebrations and momentum heading into competition. At the TaylorMade station, all participants received their custom-branded TaylorMade Spider Tour putter, a keepsake for them to use at the event and beyond their time at the tournament. Also learning more about the science behind the game STEAM-based activation introduced players to course management and the science of the game, where they learned to factor slope, distance, wind and club selection before testing their wedge play on the elevated green.

Competition officially teed off on Sunday, October 12, at The Hay, where junior golfers showcased their golf game across a mix of competition on the course and a nine-hole putting challenge. The short course created an electric atmosphere filled with both camaraderie and spirited play, as participants embraced the challenge. Adding to the excitement, collegiate star Megha Ganne made a guest appearance, as well as online golf personalities Will Lowery and Judy Tran who served as honorary tee starters.

Following a full day of competition, participants and chaperones gathered on Sunday evening at The Inn at Spanish Bay. The dinner program offered an opportunity for players to reflect on the day of competition and enjoy an evening of celebration. A highlight of the evening was a panel conversation featuring Tiger Woods and TaylorMade CEO David Abeles. The discussion explored Woods’ relationship with TaylorMade, the launch of Sun Day Red and the wide range of careers in golf beyond playing the game. The evening wrapped up with an open-mic Q&A, as junior golfers got the chance to put Woods and Abeles on the spot with questions that sparked laughter and inspiration.

The championship rounds unfolded on Monday, October 13, at The Links at Spanish Bay. Junior golfers teed off in spirited match play, with divisional titles on the line to close out the weekend of competition. Championship and consolation matches alike highlighted the talent and determination of the field, marking a memorable conclusion to the weekend.
